Tesla Sales and Service Facility

Tesla sells and services their electric vehicles at this new location in northwest Tucson.  The project

included sales/showroom, delivery/detailing, sales & service offices, customer facing restrooms, customer lounge and restrooms, customer drop-off, employee service break area/lockers/restrooms, service area, parts/battery storage and car wash bay.

The mechanical design included multiple rooftop packaged heat pump units with supply and return air distribution systems along with ceiling fans in the shop area to optimize air flow.

The electrical design included a new electrical service to feed the service center. New LED lighting was provided throughout the project which included high bay fixtures in the service area, 2x4s in the office spaces and higher end fixtures in the lobby and waiting areas. The service area was controlled by a sophisticated lighting control system to reduce energy usage within the space. The electrical design also included connections to all of Tesla’s state of the art equipment and charging systems.

The plumbing design included compressed air piping in the shop area; sand and oil separator for the washdown bay; and plumbing for restrooms and a break room.
