The scope of work was to renovate approximately 12,959 sq. ft. of shell space in the 9052 building at the University of Arizona Tech Park for Eurofins CellTx; which is designed to provide critical testing support for cell and gene therapy-based products. The renovation included 75% analytical lab space and 25% warehouse and office support spaces.
The mechanical design included the rework of the air distribution system and reused the existing air handling system located in the mezzanine. The plumbing design included the rework and connection to the existing plumbing mains while adding a new water heater and humidifier. The electrical design included the addition of two branch panels connected to the existing electrical system. New power and LED lighting were also included in the design.
We worked and coordinated closely with the owner, tenant, and architect to make this a successful project.
We provided MEP Construction Documents and Construction Administration services.
